Great Location. Hotel was dark and very hot. I could not see in the hallways they were so dark. The elevators were very small, dark, and hot. Not satisfied at all.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 18 of 577Very Fun Place to Stay
Service is excellent and friendly. There is lots of fun people watching even on a relatively slow Friday night. ZaZa's driver took us in the ZaZa Escalade to and from our restaurant down the street. We had a GREAT time there and will stay there again.

Trip Type: Business Review 19 of 577Trendy Hotel Good Value
The hotel is a nice hotel to saty at especially for me just walking distance to my office in Dallas. My only negative comments was regarding construction in the Restaurant which started under my room at 7AM in the morning that walk me up. Upon calling the front desk they pretending nothing is going on when in fact the restaurant is in sight of the front desk. I will stay in the hotel again

The ZaZa was relaxing and a nice getaway. The price was good, included breakfast, and the service was great.

Trip Type: Romance Review 21 of 577Great, with some glitches
We got an outrageously good rate for 4th of July night, so I was able to deal with some of the things that went wrong. These were: two fulls instead of one king bed, a big unsightly crack in the bathroom sink, and someone's spoiled takeout food left in a container hidden above the minifridge. We were a little bummed about the bed situation, but my boyfriend good-humoredly asked for some champagne to make up for it, and they sent some up! The takeout food was gross, but the front desk apologized about it and room service took it away (it smelled). The room service menu is no longer totally accurate. They don't serve you "house-made" ketchup, basil yogurt, or Tabasco hollandaise...it's just Heinz, plain yogurt, and plain hollandaise. Minor, I know, but I'm a foodie. Overall Zaza has definitely lost a bit of its luster but it's still a really fun place to stay, very comfortable and welcoming, and definitely an amazing alternative to the usual neutral, stuffy hotels...especially at the rates I've been seeing lately!

Hotel does not enforce guest only policy so pool is too crowded

Trip Type: With Friends Review 24 of 577Great Hotel, Just don't go for the Pool
The hotel was a great deal and the room and the entire hotel was super nice and swanky. Valet parking was easy, you can't park yourself. They had a shuttle that drove you anywhere in a 4 mile radius of the hotel. The only two negatives were that the high speed internet and the wireless were so slow you couldn't use the internet at all. It was faster to just use your cell phone internet. The other thing to consider is that the pool is nice and fun to watch from the balcony but is not a place to relax. Most of the time the pool was filled with non-guests because they share the pool with surrounding condos. So, don't go here if you want to just relax by the pool, you probably won't be able to get in.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 25 of 577Not worth the price
Unless you are staying in one of their exclusive suites the hotel is not worth the price. I had one of their deluxe suites, the room is small and very basic. The toilet was stopped up upon my arrival. It was promptly repair, but in less than 12 hours later it was stopped up once again. This is strictly a hotel were you go to be seen.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 27 of 577Feel like the A list
We feel like stars whenever we stay here - the decor of the hotel is amazingly artistic, and the staff are incredible. Love the Za Za - it is a fantastic hotel with great amenities and atmosphere. Hotels.com had an unbelievable rate - it felt like we got away with something and should have paid A LOT more.

Trip Type: Romance Review 28 of 577Amazing getaway
We spent a weekend here over 4th of July weekend, and even with the ridiculously crowded pool it was fun and we had the most relaxing weekend here. Hotel was beautiful, far exceeded expectations. Nice little extras like candy bowls at check in and common areas, vides to watch at elevators, etc. Was worried about "snob" factor after reading some reviews but we were treated great by everyone we encountered. Very professional staff. The thing you need to know is the pool is small and crowded so if you need lots of space you'll be bummed, but we were able to snag chairs eventually and enjoyed the social party atmosphere. Drinks very good but very expensive. We were lucky to get a free parking spot on the street right in front, but parking very limited. They do have valet for $20 overnight. Gym was very nice. Overall we loved this place, and hope to return if we can catch another great rate.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 29 of 577ZaZa Glamour
Very chic, hip and trendy! Hotel ZaZa is perfect for those that want party it up and be part of the "it" crowd. Service was impeccable, upgraded room (Moulin Rouge) was fabulous, and the bar was always hopping. It was a girls weekend away, so we had a blast. I would not recommend it for a romantic, quiet experience, but if you want to have fun stay at ZaZa. The only disappointment was that the pool area was very small and it was tough for thirty-somethings to feel comfortable around the twenty-something beef-cakes and wanna-be models tossing beach balls around the pool. There was no room to maneuver or for any privacy. Reading a book was impossible with all of the distractions. It is definitely a scene. If you do want to seek the poolside, go very early to get a seat because by 10 am the pool and the lounge chairs are full.

Trip Type: Romance Review 30 of 577Very Small Pool
The pool area is very small and the picture of the pool on the website is very conceiving. Also you are not allowed to wear shorts, T-Shirts, or flip flops to the Oasis which is out at the pool area at night time. I found this to be a very disappointment considering that I paid so much for the room and was asked to leave the pool area after a certain time because shorts were not allowed and considering the hot humid weather I found that it was not appropriate to dress up to sit out side by the pool at night when it is hot and very humid. I had nice shorts on and a nice polo shirt but was still asked to leave. Other than that the hotel was nice but was not what i expected from the pictures I saw on the website. I would not stay there again although I made the best of it and enjoyed my stay in Dallas. I also had to go to a friends apartment the next day during the day to even get to swim because the pool area was so crowded that you could not even sit any wear or get into the pool because of all the people just standing in the pool drinking. There was actually no where to enjoy the pool at all. When I checked into my room it was very hot inside and I had to wait about 45 minutes before they got the A/C fixed and considering I drove 5 hours in the heat I expected our room to be nice and cool and it was not and they had to have a maintenance guy come and fix it.
