This Hotel needs improvement

This Hotel might have been great 20 years ago. Knowing, that July is "off season", she staff really acted like it. You could just tell, they didn't want to be there and really didn't care. The service at the pool was less than poor. Here you are in a 115 heat and there is no refrigirator in the room. Overall very disappointing and I will never stay at the Hilton again.

The hotel was busy, unfortunately full of High School and college students who drank all day at the pool and then played loud music in their rooms, along with fighting in the corridoors. I believe that without the roudy guests this would have been a much better stay, and the hotel would have appeared better.

Not worth the price

My friend and i got very sick after one night of sleeping at this hotel. We should have requested a new air filter in our room, nice pool but dirty, ketchup packets at the bottom! Although very convienent to local casino and nearby shops.

Great Hotel for the $.

The hotel was centrally located in walking distance to several shops, movie theater and resturants. The pool was very clean and well kept. There were lots of chairs available to sit at and many umbrellas to use. All of the staff I encountered save one front desk attendant, were exceptionally friendly and the bellman went out of there way to help me offering to go the parking lot and load my car for me. The also started it for me turning on the air conditioner so it wouldn't be hot when we got in it. They went the extra mile!! I had a great stay there and to top it off the bed was more comfortable than my Temperpedic mattress at home ( I dont know if that's good or bad ;-)

Outstanding Hotel

The Hilton was very nice, great location, clean room, friendly staff (the bar service could use some work) for only a little extra we were placed on the bottom floor with a patio that opened up to the pool. The staff was great y room was not ready, but allowed me to lay by the pool and called me when it was ready, also provided a shuttle that took us a couple blocks down so we could experience the Palm Springs nightlife. I would stay at the Hilton Palm Springs anytime.

The hotel was very clean. The only negatives were that the price was very high and that the room did not have a booklet giving info. as to room service, restaurants, menu of the hotel restaurant, etc. When I called to get info. I was redirected to call both room service and the restaurant. I asked for menus to be brought up to the room and waited 45 minutes- and had to call again. On the positive side, the check in was smooth and staff friendly.

Not worth the money! This cannot be a Hilton hotel!

We waited three hours to get into our room. The reception desk told us to wait by the pool until the room was ready. We justed wanted to relax, then the gardeners around the pool area started up with the leaf blower and the weed wacker. It was impossible to relax. Finally, after 3 hours, we got into our room which was very, very basic. Not up to Hilton standard at all. Further, at 3am in the morning the guests in the room next to ours came back and started playing music and yelling loudly. They woke us from a deep sleep. Security took care of it almost immediately however but it just added to the dissatisfaction of our stay.

wireless did not work, fitness center was in remodel, and only had treadmills in overheated room, service was slow and unattentive
