Doubletree Delight

Very impressive. Much more than we expected for what little money we paid. And the convienance, it was great being so close to Universal. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great room for money

I was very pleased with the bargain I got for this hotel room. We were on a family vacation and went park hopping at Unniversal and Sea World, both conviently located near this hotel. Many restaurants were located closely to the hotel so we could stay within our budget. At first I was upset about the parking fee, but it was worth it to have my vehicle within a monitored parking area. I would definately stay here again using hotels.com.

Nice Location

I've stayed here in the past and I always love it. I never like the $12/day parking fee, but I guess it comes with the territory. Overall, nice hotel, pool, bar, etc. And I love the cookies at check in.

Great price, great location, great comfort

The location was very convenient to universal studios. the service was friendly and outstanding. The bed and pillows were outstanding and extremely comfortable. My girlfriend loved it here. A cant miss hotel.

outstanding hotel

This was the perfect place for us. The location was terrific; the staff was helpful, polite, and knowledgable about the surrounding area and things to do. the hotel had everything we needed including late night pizza and snacks. The only thing we didn't like about it was that the transportation to Universal Studios didn't run late enough so that you could stay until the park closed and still get a bus back to the hotel. The cabs were plentiful, however and the cab ride was only $5.00 to $6.00 depending on the driver.

Rip off

I got a cab from the hotel and was told it would be 30 round trip and it ended up being 70 and the hotel could have cared less! Staff was rude and could have cared less about our problems. Also don't forget they charge 12 a night to park, not a great deal for the price!

Location Good/Room and Parking Lot not the best

It is right next to Universal, which is great but I was irritated that I had to pay 12.00 a day for parking, only to walk a quarter of a mile to and from the hotel. We didn't have a refridgerator or an icebucket in the room either. Hot tub was nice but pool was a little too small for the size of the hotel. We couldn't find any available chairs.

Beware of Parking Charges

Though the room was nice and comfortable, I was not pleased that there was a $12.00/night self parking fee, which when looking back, was difficult to find on the hotels site as well as Hotel.com's site. All expenses one will be charged Must be more boldly disclosed.

Needs improvement

Noisy next room even after midnight. I did not like the ideas that I have to pay additional fees like parking and safe box if my kids touch it.
