    Our room was large/clean/comfortable, we had a breath taking view of the mountains from our room. Was enjoyable having real coffee cups and glasses instead of the standard papercups. I didn't care for the lack of a microwave in the room and no attendant in the pool area. We did not swim in the main pool as we were privy to the site of the local family of ducks using it as their private pond. We tried the hottub and found no heat at all. We did not see, or where not told, if there were any towels available at the pool, so we used our room towels. There are other hotels closer to downtown but at a much higher rate. From what I saw driving by the higher rate hotels the Doral is a much nicer location. I will be back and will plan on staying at the Doral.

Location. The Doral Desert Princess Resort is located in Cathedral City, Calif., less than five miles from the Palm Springs International Airport. The hotel is five miles from the Spa Resort Casino. Complimentary shuttle services are available to the airport and to downtown Palm Springs, six miles away.

Hotel Features. Guests of the Doral Desert Princess Resort can partake in a round of golf at the hotel's championship golf course or a game of tennis at tournament-style tennis courts. The Doral Resort Palm Springs Spa offers massage treatments, facials, body wraps and hot rock therapies. The latest in California cuisine can be found at the Fairway Café, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Diners may sit indoors or outdoors and take in views of the San Jacinto Mountains. The Cabana Bar offers frozen drinks and smoothies. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel and meeting rooms.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms contain private balconies with golf course, pool or mountain views. Bathroom amenities include oversized towels, vanity tables with padded stools and make-up mirrors. Refrigerators are provided. In-room laptop safes and high-speed Internet access are available.
