    I stayed at the custom hotel for new years this year. It was a very nicely and simply designed hotel with easy acceess to parking. There was some construction directly next door but it did not interfere with our stay. While the hotel was offering a bar/pool party, it was over priced at $100 per person and the hotel guests did not get a discount for staying there. Minus that and a few other things it was overall a great stay. I would recomend this hotel for the price range.

    Nice, modern and sleek. Great water pressure in bathroom. Intimate gym facilities but ample. The bedding was great. Desk with internet that gave my Mac no problems. A fun hotel, that seems more like it belongs in New York or some very cosmopolitan area other than in Los Angeles near the airport and Loyola University. The hotel also has a great pool area. I didn't order room service so I cannot give any spin on that. Custom also has a large vending area stocked with alot of novelty crap that I deem not very useful. This vending area has potential to provide some great stuff! The staff was cool.

Location. The Custom Hotel stands 12-stories tall on Lincoln Boulevard in Los Angeles, Calif. Marina Del Ray, Playa Vista, Culver City and Los Angeles International Airport are within three miles from the hotel. Manhattan Beach and the Venice Oceanfront Walk are four miles away.

Hotel Features. Designed by architect Welton Beckett, guests of the Custom Hotel are welcomed by a glowing fireplace and complimentary coffee. The hotel's Bistrotek restaurant is a full-service bistro featuring open, loft-style space with skylights, exposed pipes, polished concrete floors and distressed brick walls. A vine-enclosed outdoor patio is available for outdoor dining. Hopskotch, an outdoor poolside bar and grill, features a sundeck, stadium seating and a rotation of DJs. Other hotel amenities include a business center, complimentary wireless Internet access, meeting rooms and cell phone rentals. Roundtrip airport shuttle service is offered to Los Angeles International Airport.

Guestrooms. The 250 guestrooms at the Custom Hotel provide panoramic views of the ocean, Malibu, Hollywood or downtown Los Angeles. Rooms with views of the airport runways offer soundproof windows. Beds feature Percale Italian linens and down pillows. Rooms include complimentary high-speed Internet access, high-definition 26-inch LCD televisions and stereos with iPod docking stations. All rooms are smoke-free.
