Description
See more detailsLocation. The Cosmopolitan Toronto Hotel and Spa is located at the corner of King and Young streets in the financial district in Toronto, Canada. Opened in 2005, the 27-story hotel prides itself on being an independent hotel based on the design direction of natural-medicine/spiritual consultant Sylvia Noble.
Hotel Features. The hotel's on-site restaurant, Doku 15, is an Asian tapas restaurant featuring 15 tea- and saki-based martinis. The Cosmopolitan Toronto Hotel and Spa presents three smartly designed boardrooms for business needs. For a full-service spa experience, the Shizen Spa offers 500 square feet of treatment space above Brazilian oak deck floors. To assist travelers during their stay, concierges, called "Lifestyle Managers," are available 24 hours a day.
Guestrooms. The Cosmopolitan Toronto Hotel and Spa's guestrooms continue Sylvia Noble's feng shui vision by positioning floor-to-ceiling windows that radiate "light" energy. Deep brown and slate guestroom decor serve to ground this energy and soft blue accents calm the energy. Each floor features just five suites, named with a single word, one through five. At the center of each guestroom is a seven-foot serenity fountain made of jade, slate-colored bamboo and cherry wood. Each night, guests return to turndown service with a gemstone left in lieu of chocolate, soothing cosmopolitan mood-music and incense. In the bathroom, the Zen story continues with Gemstone Essence toiletries that aim to capture the positive energy generated by these semi-precious stones. As an added comfort, guestrooms feature 400-thread-count Egyptian linens on sleekly designed beds. Balconies supply guests with sweeping views of Lake Ontario and the Toronto city skyline. Complimentary high-speed Internet access is available.
Expert Tip. Sparing no holistic-health detail, guestrooms feature yoga mats and televisions broadcasting a meditation channel.
