Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 600Club Quarters Wacker Drive Chicago
I have stayed at this location three times and it is excellent. Some rooms are small - more European style - but the price is perfect. The staff is always helpful. Location is easy and safe walking distance to theater district, State St, Michigan Ave, Art Institute. Location is in historic Mather Tower and overlooks Chicago River and new Trump Tower.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 600Great location
We were looking for a hotel centrally located in the city, not too far from Navy Pier, for NYE night. This place was great! The only issue was the front desk upon our arrival - one of the clerks was having computer issues and the other completely ignored her. Parking was also an issue -- they told us that there was a parking garage down the street and when we got there, the entrance was closed. Not being familiar with the city, I wasn't sure exactly how to get to the other entrance. We ended up paying twice as much for a valet service. The room itself was a bit small for the price, but in good condition upon our arrival. I was satisfied with our stay, would stay there again, and would definitely ask for better directions to the parking garage.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 600Outstanding location & service, tiny rooms
Though we reserved a room on New Year's Eve and the hotel was packed and busy, the staff provided us with very prompt and exceedingly courteous service; I was very impressed. However, the building, though gorgeous, is very old (they were renovating during our stay) and the rooms are pretty small. The size is adequate for a single person or a couple, but probably not suitable for a family.

The room was quite small, but acceptable for a single traveler. The location is excellent for site-seeing downtown Chicago.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 600Suboptimal Front Desk Service
Front desk service was suboptimal. I gave them 48 hours notice that I would have to cut my stay short from 4 days to 2 days. They are still arguing that I am obliged to pay for a third night as a "penalty". I have yet to resolve this.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 600Not the same as the Club Quarters on Adam's Street
We choose the club quarters as we had stayed in another property in Chicago on Adams street. We were dissapointed with our stay at the Wacker Drive property. Our larger room was located at the back of the property and our view was very limited and we were expecting a river view. The room had a small TV which is located not across fromt the bed as one would expect but in the small sitting area behind a wall. The couch was small and very uncomfortable for 2 people to sit on, sagged in the middle with the frame digging in our backsides. Small refridgerator and bar sink nice for business travelers. Ice machine located in the basement had to go down 16 stories to get any. Great location price OK but overall this hotel needs was a dissapointment.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 13 of 600good location
television was old and remote had to be replaced for our stay. Compared to other CQ we've stayed, the internet lounge was small and off of entrance to hotel. Only ice machine was in basement. Exercise room small.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 600Cold as a polar bear's toenails
Okay in Chicago the cold is an expectation, but after an hour with the heat cranked up as high as it could go I was still freezing. I took an nearly two hours for my cracker-box sized room to warm up to 75 degrees. I know we are trying to "go green" and conserve energy, but I need to conserve heat when it is as cold as it was that night!
