    I thought the hotel was a little odd at first because there is a vestibule area where you have to take an elevator to a lobby to check in. This feature made it feel like it was an exclusive hotel. The hotel is set-up very differently than other traditional hotels. The elevator in the lobby that goes to all the floors is very, very fast! I stayed on the 5th floor and it took no more than 5 seconds to go from the lobby to the 5th floor. The room was very clean and I thought the pillows were fantastic! The bathroom seemed a little on the small side though. But overall it was a very nice place to stay in, especially since it's on Chestnut Street. Lots of restaurants within a few blocks, lots of retail stores in the area, and a 24/hr Rite Aide on the block in case you need anything in an emergency or that you forgot.

The hotel is two blocks from Rittenhouse Square, a park surrounded by shops and restaurants. The Liberty Bell is one mile from the hotel. The Pennsylvania Convention Center, Kimmel Performing Arts Center and the Academy of Natural Sciences are one-half mile from the hotel. Less than two miles from the hotel, the Philadelphia Museum of Art features the steps made famous in the film "Rocky."
