No complaints at all about this hotel. Staff was very nice, room was very comfortable, free internet. Would definitely stay here again!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 614Very nice...
From the moment you walk into the hotel, you know it's going to be nice. Like any botique hotel, everything's on a slightly smaller scale - but well done. The only quibble we had was getting enough bath towels for 2 people. Otherwise, the service was friendly and the room was good.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 614Perfect for our purposes
The room we stayed in was small but very well appointed. We had wanted a location within walking distance of the House of Blues in downtown Houston, and it was only about 1/2 mile away, so it was perfect. The common areas of the hotel were gorgeous, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We loved it!

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 614Good Choice for Business
Clean, small rooms well laid out and near most of Downtown Houston. Good staff and nice facilities. Fair choice of nearby resteraunts. All you need for comfortable business travel at a great price.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 614Restaurant Excellent, Room a bit Grim
I enjoyed my stay for the most part, but a lot of rennovation was going on in the neighborhood and parking was nearly impossible to find. I drove around the block at least 3 or 4 times looking for a suitable garage. The valet option was nice, but I could've dealt with something a little more low fuss and wasn't given the option. The room was a bit dark and the bed wasn't really that comfortable. It seemed as though the furniture was a little masculine, which was off-putting: I enjoy a very light, airey appearance while I am traveling for business and need to spend a lot of time in a hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 614Great Location for Downtown Houston
I have been staying here for several years because the location is convenient to my company's office as well as the Houston theater district. Rooms are small but clean and nicely decorated. Surrounding area has been gradually improving and there are now several restaurants in the vicinity, although you might need help in finding them.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 614Very nice, but
Friendly and helpful staff. Generally well maintained. Good location. Room was generally well appointed except the TV was placed on a short nightstand piece of furniture, making TV viewing from bed difficult. Kinda chintzy with towels; only one washcloth and hand towel for 2 people. Free bottled water was a nice touch. With a little hassle you can park in a garage at the Northeast corner of Fannin and Capitol (less than a block away) for $5-10 per night, avoiding the valet parking. Booked a "studio" room (slightly larger with wet bar and microwave); this is a good idea if you will be spending much time in the room.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 614Perfect for Vendors at Convention Center
Inside the Houston Loop. Classy like a European upscale hotel. No traffic to and from the Brown Convention Center (even in prime morning rush hour), restaurants within walking distance. Cold beer, pleasant people, made Houston easy.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 614Trying Hard to please
Competition is fierce out there and Club Quarters seems determined to stay alive. They worked well to make every sq.ft of their small rooms as efficient as possible. They should at least offer free local TV. A little more lighting in the room would be nice. Oh yeah, call the Gideons, let them put the WORD in your rooms. Don't be scarred! Besides what can they do to you? You are a for profit corp., right? You may find a competitive edge thats out of this world.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 13 of 614Excellent Service
Every front desk person was extremely friendly and helpful. The valet service attendant was very nice and helpful. Everyone was always smiling and had an overall pleasant attitude! This is a great hotel in the downtown Houston area - we were in town for the Astros game and it is very conveniently located. Will absolutely stay here next time we are in town!

Great room, location & price; Only one negative, I felt the bed was overly hard. I would stay there again.
