    Lovely decor, outstanding service and delicious food are the strenghths of the Chamberlain. It is located in a residential neighborhood, so it is very quiet, but at the same time convenient to all LA locations. The highlight of our stay (with three teenage kids) was the hotel's rooftop heated swimming pool; smallish, but with breathtaking views of LA.

    A gem in the center of residential West Hollywood. Subdued elegance still exists. The staff couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Very quiet, charming rooms with balconies and a fireplace. Returning there from a day of sightseeing was like returning home!

Location. The Chamberlain West Hollywood is located in West Hollywood, Calif. The hotel is two blocks from Sunset Strip and one mile from the boutique shops of Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive. Downtown Hollywood is three miles away.

Hotel Features. The hotel, housed in a converted apartment building, features panoramic city views from the rooftop pool, spa tub and cabana lounge. Guests receive access to a 24-hour fitness center. Flora behind a glass wall serves as a backdrop for the Chamberlain West Hollywood Restaurant Bistro and Lounge. The patio is shaded by banana palms and native foliage. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee throughout the property.

Guestrooms. The four-story hotel's 114 guestrooms open onto private balconies and feature working gas-log fireplaces. Beds are dressed with faux-leather headboards, 610-thread count Italian linens and down comforters. Entertainment centers house flat-panel LCD televisions. Rooms are appointed with suede sofas and velvet chairs. Bathrooms feature marble floors and are stocked with Moton Brown toiletries.

Expert Tip. Each Wednesday evening guests are invited to complimentary beer tastings. Other complimentary extras include Yoga by the Pool hosted on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
