Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 327THe dogs have to go!
Well for starters, we were charged an additional $12.99 per day for use of their facilities? Which was not disclosed when we booked the room. We had already paid for our room and billed. So it was somewhat annoying to pay add'l for services I didnt need like internet, local phone usage. 2nd thing was we booked a smoke free room, we were on a smoke free floor. However, someone was smoking on the flooor and I could smell it, it's disgusting when you're trying to get some sleep. Which then brings me to the issue with the mattresses, they need to be replaced people, they were a little bit on the lumpy side and it was hard to go to sleep in those conditions. Pillows were tiny, we only had 3 small pillows for our King size bed. I had to ask for 3 more. Now the last thing is people were checking in with DOGS?! Most people go to vegas for business and pleasure ( gambling? ) for pete sakes leave the furry ones at home. They dont have any business in a hotel and barking when others finally go to bed.........

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 327Great value... for the money
Since the room came with the breakfast buffet, and adding the additional resort fee to the cost, it was darn cheap. Room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Loved the orange smelling soaps. TV channels were very limited. Casino wasn't much, but i wasn't there for gambling. It was definitely a great buy for the money.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 6 of 327Hate the Extra Hotel Anemities Fee
We paid for our room online.... then we go to check in to find they have a "Hotel Anemities Fee"????? An extra $12.99 plus tax!!! It was in the fine print AFTER we had charged the room but it ended up not being the best deal in town. Arizona Charlie's-Boulder DOES NOT charge extra fees & it is a very comfortable hotel/casino to stay at (we have several times). The buffet is very good, & reasonable w/a break for seniors. Boulder Station is very nice, & the buffet is beautiful. Machines were tight but that didn't surprise us being the state of economy. I doubt we will return to Boulder Station because we don't appreciate having extra fees charged us!!!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 327Boulder Station
Great room, Great price, Great staff (even quick to get us back in the room after we accidentally locked ourselves out), Convenient parking. A little out of the way for our needs (in town for a wedding), but the price was worth it. Only disappointment was the breakfast buffet. The service was good, but the food wasn't. It was included in the price, so I can't complain too much, but after the first morning, we considered skipping the complimentary breakfast all together.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 327Great Value!
The buffet was great and the rooms and casino were well maintained. Perfect location just off the strip too!

Great price for money. Sweet 50" flat tv. Dint love resort fee of $15, but as long as you account for that great price.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 327Mrs.
I enjoyed the room but it was not very clean specially the bathroom floor. The Breakfast Buffet was excellent and specially since it was included in the price (free). The Buffet has a very good selection of food. The location was not what I expected. The view from the room was not very nice. For the price it was a very good offer.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 12 of 327Great Breakfast Buffet
The hotel breakfast buffet was very good. Drawbacks were poor lighting in the hotel room, a small TV, and no desk. We had to drag the table over to the Internet modem.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 327Not For First Timers Or Those Without Cars
I can happily recommend Boulder Station to people who are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in while they visit Las Vegas, especially if they are familiar with Las Vegas and are driving or renting a car. But be warned, this is on the "Boulder Strip", a seedier part of town that is fairly close to Downtown and pretty far from the Strip. It gags me when I stay at Boulder Station and I see foreign tourists staying there; don't spend your only visit to Las Vegas this far away from the Strip. There are bargains on the Strip at good hotels like Monte Carlo, Flamingo, Treasure Island, or if you really want to save money there's the IP. But if this is your 5th visit to Las Vegas Boulder is a bargain, and besides the low room rates the restaurants are good and inexpensive as well. But do be forwarned that there is a $14 daily service fee that includes free internet access and little else.
