Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 28Very surprised
The Best Western Dallas Hotel and Conference Center was a very good hotel experience. it took less than 5 minutes to get registered and be issued room keys. It was quiet and although we stayed there on New Years Eve, there was No disrupting noise from outside or inside the hotel. The breakfast was ok. The french toast and potatoes were great, but the eggs really sucked, and there was no meat at all. I would stay here again and will tell friends.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 28Not a "Full Breakfast" as advertised, but Great hotel for the price
Upside: Very clean hotel, modest room, but great for the price, nice fitness room, friendly service. Downside: Part of the reason I chose this hotel over others was for the advertised "Full Breakfast" included in the price. The "Full Breakfast" consisted of a few cereals, french toast, and potatoes; then, runny eggs, runny oatmeal, and under-ripe fruit, most of which was gone by 9am. There were no pancakes, biscuits, or waffles, let alone bagels, danishes or muffins, which would normally even be part of most continental breakfasts. There was no breakfast meat, such as sausage, ham, or bacon. The orange juice machine was broken so they offered a high fructose corn syrup-based orange drink but no other juices. My husband loves breakfast, so the lack of "Full Breakfast" as advertised was a great disappointment. We would have been significantly more satisfied with no "Full Breakfast" advertised and finding breakfast elsewhere.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 28Great Service-Smelly Room
The room looked nice and the amenities were good. The service was very good. I didn't need anything out of the ordinary, but all of the staff I came into contact with were incredibly friendly. I was on the second floor and as soon as I got off the elevator, there was an odor in the hall way. The odor was also in my room. The carpet looked new in the room and the room looked very clean, but I was in a non-smoking room and the bed reeked of stale cigarettes. I don't think it was the bedding, so I don't think getting it changed would help. I'm pretty surethe smell was embedded in the mattress. The smell did make it hard to go to sleep. But the breakfast was good. Lots of fresh fruit.

I can write a page about my bad experience with this hotel. But, simply put, this hotel will manage to keep you in bad mood for your entire stay. You don't believe me, try it.

Hotels.com offered a superb rate--far less than the hotel's own website. A first class hotel at a bargain rate!

Pro: Complimentary hot breakfast is excellent. The staffs are nice and friendly. Con: Room (Deluxe King) is a little bit small. Some toiletries are missing, but we can call to ask.

Hotel still under renovation and the breakfast buffet is decently good. The buffet should offer more variety, and it was a little difficult to find due to the name/ownership change...but once found we were good to go and the room itself was more than satisfactory.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 28Needs Improvement
Too much noise in the room (probably, some appliance, elevator, air conditioned or...???) The breakfast is almost a joke... terrible. If you don“t like to include in the price, it is fine, but if you offered something you need to accomplish a minnimun quality.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 28Nice good breakfast
Nov. 2008 remodeling almost finished. Bedding is nice, room was clean, Front Desk people very nice and breakfast had variety and a lot of fruit. Couldn't ask for anything more especially for the price!
