The hotel is four blocks from the White House and the Red Line at Farragut North Metro Station. Ronald Reagan National Airport is five miles away.
Hotel Features. The contemporary lobby features marble and wood floors, leather couches, and a flat-screen television. The lobby and restaurant areas contain glass pieces designed by Chihuly. The retro-modern Beacon Bar Grill serves American dishes and features a two-story lounge and open-air patio. The Walter Gagliano-designed dining room is reminiscent of a 1930s ocean liner. The Beacon Hotel offers 10,000 square feet of function space. The business center houses two computer stations. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas for a fee. The hotel includes a 24-hour fitness room with headphones for the television-mounted cardiovascular machines.
Guestrooms. The Beacon Hotel's guestroom design is inspired by that found in New York City studios. Contemporary décor features bold color schemes and beds draped beneath 300-thread count sheets and down duvets. Rooms contain mahogany-grain wood tables and leather chairs.
