South tower needs a major remodeling for its location. Should meet the expectations of surrounding casinos. Great room and great location for the money however very dirty room, old style comforter, couches and chairs and t.v. They need to match this side of the casino with its north tower. The south tower has the better view so it should have nice rooms as well

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 704Great room for the money
Bally's Las Vegs had great location. It was in the center of the strip so going from one place to the next was easy. There were many restaurants and fast food places around the hotel as well, so finding food was quick. There were a few things we didn't like about Bally's. One was the fact that in order for us to get a room in the north tower, which was the newly renovated one, we had to pay a daily added fee. Another thing was that Bally's holds a sizable amount to cover for any incidentals you may have each night of your stay right on check-in. Since we stayed for 3 nights, there was a sizable amount of money that was held from our bank account. When we checked out though, the hold was released immediately, but the reception clerk said that for some banks it may take up to 48 hours for release. Lastly, the internet access and fitness center were not free. You have to pay a fee for all the amenities that the hotel offers, which other hotels most typically provide for free. Over all, Bally's was great room for the money, if you are just looking for a place to sleep at night, after you go around town. It was clean and service was good.

We are the family of 4 stayed at this hotel the weekend after Christmas for 3 nights. The time we checked in was an hassle, we book king size 1 bedroom and 2 queens size 1 bedroom but they cannot give us what we reserved for, on top of that one of the room wasn't finish and we have walked around with our big luggages because front desk told us to go to north tower but she gave us the south tower. The second night we heard the noise come from the toilet sink but didn't know what's wrong until the third night we came back from dinner the toilet was flooding.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 704New Years Anniversary 2009
First time going to Vegas for New Years. After checking out all of the reviews, decided this was the place. Centrally located to everything. The room was HUGHE. The largest we have ever stayed in, in Las Vegas. Clean, comfy. Great! Everything happended right on the corner, by the hotel for New Years. Didnt know Paris, Harras, etc were all associated. Got great 2-4-1 drink discounts at check in for all of them.... and USED them too. Only down side, Long Check in lines. They eventually added more people. Do the express check out if you can. Had coupons for Paris Hotel Buffet. It was the best I've ever had!!! $25 pp, but with coupon, we saved $10. Already planning our next trip back. And will stay at Ballys!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 704Good for the money on the center strip
We stayed at Bally's over the Christmas holiday. The price was right and the location is very convenient for being able to access some of the nicer resorts on the strip. We stayed in the South Tower on the 17th floor which had a great view of the strip and the fountains across the street at the most Beautiful resort on the strip which I am apparently not supposed to name (but everyone knows what I'm talking about!!) The only problem is the fountain show at the aforementioned resort runs every 15 minutes until midnight every night so don't expect to have ANY chance of sleeping because the music is VERY loud and can be easily heard inside your room.

Hotel location is good but no coffee maker or fridge in the room which is not convenient if you have kids. Some guests were not considerate and you could hear them having a loud party at 4:00 AM.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 704Great room for the money except very smoky casino area.
Great room for the money, Clean rooms, Very prompt room service. Long wait for ckin. Also too much smoke in the casino area compared with other hotels, couldn't stand for longer than 15 mins, went to Paris hotel casino area to play. They have internal connection to Paris hotel which is very convinient.
