My first room has a small problem in the bathroom. In response, I was transferred into a magnificent villa suite for no additional charge. The staff was incredibly cordial, knowledgable, and accomodating to every need. The property is massive but a friendly "lift" in a golf cart was always moments away. Don't forget to ask about the Mocha and Mango Creamice (Pronounced Creameese)drinks. They are delicious!! Oh and I heard the golf course was awesome (I am not a golfer).

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 231Outstanding Hotel and Water Park !
This was my grand daughters birthday. The only thing she wanted was to go to the water park. She told me about this ,which i never heard of...being older... i checked into this on the computer. For a family weekend of outstanding fun ,i booked it. Wow, was i surprised ! After the first nite the parents went home and Gramma got to stay and oh my goodness. What fun we all had. To get to go out to the water park and go back to the room and rest or eat . I cannot tell you how much fun we had. This was great. I did look on line for prices. If we had planned ahead this would have been a better deal. We will be sure to do this the next occassion we have ,when warm weather is available ... The only thing i did ask for when booking this room was to be on lower level and a patio to walk right out to the water park. The lady said she did so. I was dissapointed when we didn't have a view of the park and had to walk down the hall about 10 rooms and over the area to the entrance . The patio also had cigeratte buts {39} to be exact, which made it uncomfortable to go out with the kids to sit and enjoy talking about the days fun. I have illness that restricks walking too much , which was uncomfortable , but the water made it better. Over all......thank you and hope to book earlier next time ,for a better price. Lane Family

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 231If you dont have kids dont go here!
This hotel, or should I say "Resort", (which they pretty much just use that word so they can charge and extra $30 resort fee on top of the $189 per night) is nice. However if you are not into golf and you don't have children the price isn't worth the stay. There is a decent sized water park but its of course full of kids. I could have stayed at best western inn and suites and been just as comfortable and happy with the accomadations for less than half the price.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 231Do you like roaches in your resort rooms, can't say that I do.
I purchased two rooms for our three night stay at the Arizona Grand Resort, C557 and C558, both rooms had roaches, as in cockroaches, I did not tell my fiance for she would have left the first morning, her daughter and two grandkids stayed in the room next to ours, her daughter did not say anything until after our stay was complete, she too knew that her mom would have left promptly. When I reported the roaches to the registration folks upon checkout there was no concern expressed or resolution presented, would I stay here again, heck no!!! Ohh and the family pools and hot tubs were not operational either!

We absolutely loved this resort! The whole staff was extremely friendly from check in through check out. Our room was roomy and very comfortable. The whole resort was elegant in a comfortable manner. From the pools, to the water park our stay was perfect! I will definately recommend this place to anyone traveling to AZ!

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 231Disappointed
Staff was rude on several occasions including when we called for a new comforter because the one on our bed had some nasty fluid stain...don't even want to think what that was. Waterpark was OK for small kids but my teens got bored fast. The waterpark closed too early as well. Parking a mess. Was about a 2 star hotel to me. Will never stay there again.
