Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 598Convenient - Quiet
Small room. Conveniently located near Casino and Riverwalk. Within walking distance to Superdome and to French Quarter. Very Quiet. Parking, Parking Taxes, and Resort fees add up quickly.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 598Very disappointed.
Extremely disappointed. We had an interior room which I've had at other hotels but this was really unplesant. The room had a glass door and two windows that looked out on the hall. There were blinds on the foor and windows but not drapes. When the room lights were out it was very bright in the room all night. It was also very noisy. We could easily hear through the walls and we could hear people walking on the floor above. There were a few low wattage lights in the room. I had to use a flashlight to search for itms in my luggage when it was on the rack in the back of the room. The beds were not very comfortable and tended to squeak when someone turned over on them. The wood floor also squeeked loud enought to wake other occupants when someone got up during the night. There were ants in the bathroom. Though we got this hotel on a suppooed deep discount it wasn't worth it.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 598Great location, great price!
Spacious, comfortable rooms, but the lighting was a little too dim, the shower had only warm water, there were little black hairs on every towel in our room, we got two thin blankets, but we enjoyed our stay nontheless and the price was great for the hotel's proximity to the French Quarter.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 598Great Hotel
After reading the different reviews on this site, we held our judgment until we got to the hotel. When we arrived, we were greeted by the Bellhop and he took our luggage to the arrival counter and we were greeted and taken care of by a very friendly staff worker. got to the room and we were pleasantly supprised by how neat the room was and also how clean the room was. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would go back again in the future. The only negative is the mandatory phone and internet fee per day that is added to your bill.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 598Nothing as expected. Dont ruin your vacation
Rooms are noisy. You can hear a loud bang when lift arrives. My family could not sleep because of the noise of the lift and the noise from next room, Walls are too thin. I could hear talking from rooms even when I was passing though the passage to the elevator. No smile are courtsey on the face of hotel staff. The rooms seems to be not cleaned for months. I could see the dust everywhere. I am frequent traveller and I was hoping for some authentic hotel from New Orleans but this hotel completely failed in expectation.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 598needs improvement
Our room door was made of glass. It had a plastic mini-blind over it. This allowed way too much light to come in making it hard to sleep at night. Also, a privacy issue. Complimentary breakfast was not available as long as they said it would be. Went down an hour before it was to shut down - nothing available.

Location is wonderful. The decor in lobby and rooms extremely well done. The alleged continental breakfast is a farce & a hugeeee disappointment. How many pieces can you make out of 1 danish. The resort fee of $6.95 was a rip off as I did not use any of those amenities. I did look over the gym & it is very well equipped.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 12 of 598Surprisingly nice for the price!
The hotel really had a great New Orleans feel to it with hardwood floors, a great lobby bar, and very close to the Dome, the French Quarter and Harrah's.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 598Needs improvement in rooms, mainly in bathrooms.
Location is nice. Bathroom maintenance is not good. Sometimes noisy. You gotta pay a mandatory fee of 7$ almost for nothing. They say we have continental breakfast that is reduced to a coffee, that sucks.

Great discount rate with valet parking included - add-on of 7$ for phone and internet fee. Overall a decent place to stay but not my first choice in future.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 598A bad, noisy experience,
I'm sitting here in the room at 2 am and can hear the conversations of the people next door and above us as well as their noisy stomping footsteps on the wooden floors. The walls in this place are THAT thin. We have an interior room where the only windows are to the hallway, and over these windows they have some pretty crappy blinds. So not only is it noisy, but bright as well! Even if you did not have an interior room all the doors have a full length piece of glass with crappy blinds covering them. The beds are nice - all the better to lay awake in listening to everyone around you.
