Pros: Excelent Location, very confortable hotel, impecable service (we arrive very late and they welcome us with a nice, cold beberage, just to mention an example),outstanding restaurant, beds are firm not hard and very very confortable. They have Mayan ruins within the hotel grouds very well preserve, pretty landscaping. It is poised at the edgf the coba lake. The quality price ratio is more than reasonable. They also provide services like money exchange at very favorable rate. The librery is nice and inviting. The pool is little small but well maintein and pleasent. The hotel seems reasonably new and structurally well maintained. However: (1) no TV in rooms and only TV (in library) out of service; (2) staff extremely lazy and uninterested in guests or service; (3) very few items on dinner menu available despite an extensive menu; (4) same for drinks menu; (5) room layout very strange with beds in alcoves. Furtermore, on review, there is no reason to stay in Coba as there is only one real activity (pyramid site) that closes at 4PM so it is easy to go to Tulum or elsewhere where there is more choice and activity...More
