    Hotel Nine
    While visiting our son in San Jose we decided to take him and his girlfriend to the beach at Jaco for the night. We wanted a hotel right on the beach and Hotel 9 is what we found. However, when we arrived in Jaco we had trouble actually finding Hotel 9. I will spare you the "Twilight Zone" details of that ordeal though because I have better things to say. I do hope they provide some better directions for their future guests. This place is brand spanking new - contemporary design, clean as a whistle and small enough to make you feel right at home. The owners greeted us as if we were royalty and treated us to a tour of the restaurant "9" and of future expansion plans. We were granted a very late checkout the next day so that we could use the complimentary surf and boogie boards and experience lunch at the "9" prepared by their 4-star chef. It was every bit as good as they said it would be. We will be back!...More
