    Hotel Castelmar
    I kept finding myself saying. " I love this hotel " !!! Its not like I'm an amateur in this traveling world but I kept being surprised, and pleased... It is an old building with lots of charm, very well maintained and a staff that may not be used to lots of English speaking guests but ready with a smile and a willingness to help. This is a fabulous deal for the money and although Campeche is just starting to rebuild an infrastructure and has not been flushed with tourism dollars yet, that may be half its charm, " Centro " district is safe and beautiful to walk around in.     Hotel Castelmar
    An awesome place at a wonderful price. Friendly staff. Huge, clean nicely appointed rooms in a beautiful "cloister" looking building surrounding a courtyard. We wished we could have taken this room with us everywhere on our trip throughout the Yucatan. Campeche is also a nice, lightly touristed town. I would highly recommend!...More
