There is a large sitting room with a fold out couch. The bed room was also very large with 2 twin beds. Kitchen area was well organized with things you needed to use the stove top and microwave oven. It was very handy with a large refrigerator.
Breakfast buffet was great. It was in the restaurant next door with access off of the lobby. You may need reservations if you would like to eat there in the evening. Walking to the different sites was easy, and the trolly system is close. To get there from the airport, take the Finnair bus to city center. It is located west of the National Museum. Be aware that the front desk is only open from 8 AM to 8 PM Monday through Friday. There is a phone in the lobby and in your room where you can call someone if you need help. We were there for 7 nights, so they serviced the room half way through our stay. Normally it is only after you leave if you stay is less than 7 nights. Would love to stay there again. While walking, watch for the signs on the sidewalks, one side is for walking, and the other side is for bicycles. The Helsinki pass was great for us. We used the trolly system and went to enough museums for it to pay for itself....More

We stayed here with our two kids. The location was handy--close to major tram lines and buses. The hotel and restaurant staff went out of their way to accommodate our kids. Our only complaint was that the pool was awfully cold, around 72 degrees. One hotel employee said that it was kept cool so that bacteria wouldn't breed in the water. I guess they're not big believers in chlorine....More
