Grand Palladium Colonial Resort & Spa All Inclusive
I did a lot of research before going to this area and we were very happy with choosing the Palladium. We had a one week stay here and it was wonderful! The hotel grounds are immaculately kept and very pretty. You have access to all of the pools, bars and restaurants across the three sister resorts. We were always able to get drinks, never waited longer than 30 minutes for a dinner seating, and all of the staff was very kind. We would definitely go back to a Palladium resort. The only opportunity for improvement is the bedding, not the most comfortable beds and pillows, but the rooms are nice. Quick Tips: Take a bunch of dollar bills for tipping. The staff isn't pushy about tipping, but it is nice the have them handy for helpful members of the staff. We each took $40 and that was plenty. Second, take the collectivo vans, which are only 35 pesos per person to the Tulum ruins or Playa Del Carmen. Finally, make sure to check out the spa, it is gorgeous and has very good prices....More

This hotel was only a "best western" by name, it is a cute little hotel perched on the cliffs of Positano. Very clean and nice inside, stafff was helpful and spoke english which was helpful. dont let the BW fool you! We stayed on the 1st floor, room was nicely sized and had a great view off of the balcony and the front window. A bit loud at night and in the am due to mopeds and cars on the road(next time i would ask to be moved to the 2nd or 3rd floor) Brekfast in the am was great (crossants w/ nutella)no eggs and bacon but just what we needed to hike around postano. It is quite a hike from downtown positano, prob 15-20 minute walk all uphill and with at least 100 steps..but all of positano is like this and we got used to it just fine, we climebd back to the hotel every night. There is a "positano Interno" bus that you can catch up and down the hill about every 30 min (1.20euro) but we found many great shops, and restaurants by just walking down the hill. Anyway I would recomend and would stay here again. Positano is beautiful....More

We had a great relaxing vacation. The food is OK, the booze lower tier. The beach and snorkling great. Service very nice. We weren't interested in the "activities" so we stayed away from the pool. If you like your vacation accompanied by loud music and happy yanking smoking groups of Italians, go there! We just stayed on the other end and it was fine....More
