They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable and were very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and what items were of significance for a person with my limited schedule to see.     Crowne Plaza Canberra
    I'll be brief. Australia is famous for friendly people, but service levels seem to suffer in that country greatly. I was saddened by the apethy and often abrasiveness of almost all whom I came in contact who had a customer facing role. The Crowne Plaza Canberra seems to be immune. Wonderfully situated at the heart of Canberra; a 2 minute walk from major shopping and dining; and only a few minutes drive from major sightseeing destinations. The service was professional and friendly -- even warm. Up to the standards I would expect from an international brand. There's no doubt this will be my home base on every future visit to Canberra....More
