    Avalon Excalibur Acapulco
I visited with a group of 15 college students on spring break and this hotel was great. It did not have the typical spring break atmosphere, but it was very comfortable. If we wanted to party more we were very close to other spring break hotels. Great location with okay food, but most importantly the bar was very good. Great atmosphere, but it was very helpful to know a little basic spanish as most of the workers and guests only speak spanish....More

Park Royal Acapulco - All Inclusive
Situated on the other side of the bay, about 10/15 minutes in Taxi from the costera (the bar area on the main avenue of Acapulco). It's just in front of the Palladium night club. Their private beach is very small and crowded. The 2 pools are quite small for the amount of people in the high season. Restaurants are good, but not "excellent". Food is always the same in the buffets (althought it's large enough to enjoy it for 2 or 3 days). If you stay 5 days, you get bored by the repetitive food service. You are really bugged by the hotel people who are trying to sell you their VIP cards (and the cabins on a 10 year loan by the way)....More
