    The PruneYard Plaza Hotel
    Pruneyard is a very nice hotel. Very quiet, comfortable beds, easy to get work done. The downside was I feel the hotel was over priced for my stay (however, most hotels during my stay were overpriced, so apparently something was going on in town) and the breakfast was a little less than to be desired. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Hotel was very clean and pleasant. Will stay there again....More

    Travelodge Central Market St
    Checked in around 9PM, they had already closed the lobby and had to check in at the night window. The people at the window were not the friendliest people, I tried to find the entrance and they saw me trying to open the door for a few minutes and they did nothing. When I finally got to check in, they give me room 116 all the way tucked in the corner, it was absolutely the smallest hotel room I've ever seen, less than half the size of the other rooms (yeah, I checked). Maybe it's because I checked in late and was a single guy, but I paid just as much as any one else, so I felt jipped. The room smelled of smoke from the neighbors in the adjacent room, also a nonsmoking room. Other than that the room was fairly clean and the hotel is well situated on Market just a few blocks from Castro. Can walk just about anywhere from there....More
