The Schiller hotel is in a very central if somewhat noisy location which is surrounded by many very good restaurants and within walking distance from most of Amsterdam's many sights....More

    Dutch Design Hotel Artemis
Hotel was fine. Very quiet, almost never heard another guest. However, it is not so good for tourists since it is far from the center of Amsterdam and the hotel is not in an interesting neighborhood. The hotel is located in a high rise business office park....More

    Golden Tulip Amsterdam-Zaandam
I chose this hotel because it was listed as being close to the train station. You don't even have to cross the street - you walk out of the hotel and within a minute or two, there is the train station! Amsterdam is just a few stops away and so is the airport. It was so easy to get there and back again. I was expecting a tiny room so I was pleasantly surprised when it was a little larger than I expected. There is construction going on at the hotel and surrounding it so that was a bit of an eyesore. As long as you are choosing the hotel so you can get sightsee in Amsterdam, you shouldn't mind. The staff were friendly and very helpful with train information, too. There was one computer in the lobby that you could use to access the internet. Another nice plus! If I ever get the chance to visit Amsterdam again, I would definitely stay at this hotel - you can save a ton of money but not waste too much time getting to the city....More
