    The Ambassador Hotel
    Very good hotel with attentive staff. The location is terrific; next to the Kahn market, two blocks from Lodhi Garden, and central to most business, govt and tourism spots in Delhi. Price can be good if booked ahead; if at the last moment can be too pricey....More

    The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata
    Located in Esplanade, the Oberoi Grand has always been a landmark in Kolkata. I was visiting Kolkata after a long time and was debating whether to check in one of the newer Hotels instead. However, I am very happy that I stayed in the Oberoi Grand. The staff (housekeeping, reception desk et al) was very friendly, room service was excellent and very efficient. The hotel is well maintained and looked better than what I remember from several years ago. I have stayed in five star hotels in Europe and the USA, but this experience was something else. There was a certain warmth and a feel of being welcome. I would definitely stay there when I visit Kolkata again....More

    Our stay at the hotel was very relaxing and comfortable. The hotel had a beautiful garden, swimming pool and a nice spa. Although we had to change rooms during our stay because of the malfunctioning of the AC, the service was good and staff were pretty responsive....More
