    JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort and Spa
    The hotel is beautiful. The vegetation is new and needs to grow and so it looks a little sparse for CR standards. The center entrance area could use some more plants. The gym is good, but they could put out some refreshments like El Suenos Gym. The food is expensive ie coke is about $4, meals about $15 to $20 per meal. It gets expensive with two kids and drinks etc. The hotel is about 18K from Tamarindo and this is mostly a pot holed road. We drove into town all the time to eat. There are lots of great restaurants in town at less price. ie eat@Joes, Nogys, FT's, Citrus. It is a beautiful hotel. People are nice. Kids club is great. The beach is good. We had a nice time....More

    El Rodeo Country Inn
    But this hotel was away from most of the malls, movie cinemas. Along with the night sites. The bed was almost like sleeping on a board. The room was spacious enough for one. Had a steam room, jacuzzi and pool. Think I was only one to use the pool while I was there....More

    Hotel Grano de Oro
    It is hard to believe this hotel is in the city when you are inside it is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were very nice and relaxing. The restaurant is in the interior courtyard giving you view of the open sky and the staff could not be any nicer or more helpful! The food is good too!...More
